Genuine and True Believers, J.F.

I grew up in a Christian home, however soon after I was saved at a young age, my parents stopped going to their Christian denomination. Growing up, I had a desire to know about the Lord and to meet with other believers. My desire to have Christian friends led me to pray to the Lord that he would lead me to meet with some true and genuine Christians. In the fall of 1993, I met some Christians who met with the local church. When I began to meet with them, I had a deep sense that God was there. It has been nearly six years that I have been meeting with the local church, and I can testify that I have found real enjoyment of the Lord. My love and pursuit of the Lord has increased tremendously. As I look back, I can definitely see and say that I have grown in the Lord. I have found that here is the real and proper care that I needed. In addition to the spiritual care I have received, I have also been helped by seeing the normal lives of so many of the members of the local church. I have seen them live what they preach. I thank the Lord for leading me to this place.

God is finally Available, Enjoyable and Experiential

I am so appreciative of both Watchman Nee's and Witness Lee's ministries. Their writings have been a channel of spiritual supply for my daily Christian life. Their writings are centered on Christ and show how we can know, experience and enjoy this Wonderful One. I have seen that Christ is the reality of every positive thing, and He is my one real need. Through their ministries, I have seen in the Bible that Christ is the eternal life that fills our empty being. In Ecclesiastes 3:11, it says that God has put eternity in man's heart. The only thing or person that can satisfy this longing is Christ Himself, who is and who gives eternal life. Both Witness Lee and Watchman Nee's ministries have presented the truth in a way that makes God so available, enjoyable and experiential to me. I feel that I'm indebted to these ministries for providing what I really need - Christ.
